And More. The Tower of Babel
Comprised of 30,000 books, Argentinian artist, Marta Minujin, created this public art piece as a tribute to the city of Buenos Aries which has been named as the World Book Capital of 2011 by UNESCO. The Tower of Babel can be climbed by sightseers until it is deconstructed. While climbing the tower, viewers hear music composed by Marta while also hearing various artists saying the word 'book' in different languages. This is a place where all languages come together as one.

Japanese artist Eiji Watanabe creates a stunning installation with butterflies individually hand cut from field guides. He then pins them to walls and ceilings surrounding by very books which he cut them from.Butterflies, which are so often a cliche in the art world have a way of sometimes reappearing in interesting and captivating ways when clever artists like Eiji are involved.
